Just start walking. If it’s your first time here, there’s no need to search for long – some of the most beautiful trails start right outside Auenhütte.
Schwarzwassertal & Schwarzwasserhütte
A gentle trail leads straight from our doorstep into the Schwarzwassertal. After around 50 minutes, you’ll reach Melköde, and from there the trail continues to Schwarzwasserhütte. The perfect introduction: varied, easy to walk and with plenty of space to breathe.
Gottesacker Plateau
If you’re looking for something a little more alpine, put the Gottesacker Plateau on your list. This protected karst landscape is vast, peaceful and truly unique – a hike that leaves a lasting impression and gives you a real taste of the high mountains. If the weather is uncertain, we recommend choosing a more relaxed alternative.
