Breakfast at the Auenhütte means: real flavor, solid products, and a selection that gives every morning its own beat. Fresh bread, warm egg dishes, hearty cheese, good ham, homemade spreads – everything a strong mountain hut breakfast needs.

Plus muesli & crunchy cereal from Verival, fruit, yogurt, and enough variety to start every morning differently. The coffee packs a punch, the tea brings calm, the juice brings freshness. A breakfast that sustains you – and gets you ready for whatever the day brings.

If you’re staying with us and opted for half-board, you’re completely set. Every evening from 6:00 PM, a 3-course menu awaits you – with homemade soups, fresh salads, and dishes that swing between alpine tradition and creative cuisine. Classic, modern, surprising.

Evenings with their own beat. Several times a week, we turn up the authentic mountain hut feeling. Evenings with character, their own rhythm, and a focus on our absolute favorite dishes – sometimes cheesy, sometimes smoky, sometimes with an Italian touch. Exactly what’s on the menu depends on the season and the moment. On all other days, we keep it relaxed: you simply put together your menu from our suggestions at breakfast. Choose freely. Enjoy laid-back.

Freedom packed in your pocket with the Allgäu Walser Card. Lots of included services, free rides on buses and trains in the valley, and cable cars that take you higher—all without extra planning. Set off spontaneously, travel easily, totally in the flow. Less organization, more experience. This is what a vacation feels like when the beat is right.

Right next to the Auenhütte is the Mountain Club Laubela – the place to be in the Kleinwalsertal. DJ sounds, BBQ events, theme nights, and nights that go on way longer than planned. Plus drinks, a beer at the bar – and the best Kaiserschmarrn in the valley.

Beds, furniture, paneling – much of what you see here is made of wood. Built by hand, with a feel for material and time. For Christoph and Tanja Bantel, this is just part of it: real things that last. Feel it.
